If it has wheels and moving parts, we’re definitely interested!

A small Longboard company approached me with the goal of updating their manufacturing processes. After developing 3D models of the ideal boards, from hand-sketches and discussions I produced a range of moulds, each with slightly different characteristics in three dimensions.

The two halves of each board’s mould were CNC-milled from wood to allow a faster and more accurate production process which, most importantly, was infinitely repeatable.

I haven’t had the chance to ride the boards myself but all reports so far are positive!
